For the pat half a month, I've just been having finals test after test, not counting my piano test and all the practice that went into it. Now, with my chinese finals coming up, my grades are dropping fast. I just can't take it anymore. It's just not me to learn a new dialect of a language I already know. Every time I try to do an assignment now, I can only think of the response in Cantonese, not Mandarin like the rest of the class. I'm just tired of not having the choice of what to do. My parents were the ones who chose chinese class for me this year, and all I have to say is, THANK GOODNESS I'M NOT TAKING IT NEXT YEAR! If I did, then my choices would become even more limited, as the chinese class for next year supposedly takes u twice the time, and as a result, means that I have one less choice for classes to take. Instead, I'm replacing Chinese with theatre, since I am pretty good at acting. Also, I'm also glad that everything except for the immersion CHinese classes are being removed, because then, even if I was forced to select Chinese class like last year, at least it would be much easier, and take up less class selection slots, too.
Over spring break, almost every day I had to watch my little pony with my little brother, and if he thinks that making me watch equestria girls over and over again will make me a brony, he practically succeeded. Now, everywhere I go, I can find piles of MLP merchandise everywhere... :P
Sorry for the lack of posts, but after my nostalgia attack from a perfect combo of different things and I ended up completely melting down...
I should really stop coming up with ideas while half asleep in bed... *sigh* Every time I think of something I like in bed, I come up with an idea, but due to my blurred perception of the truth behind the idea from my sleepiness, it causes what seemed to be awesome ideas at first to be realized to just be things that I wanted to do just to pass time, not to actually test my skills and do something...
Once again, I feel like there are absolutely nothing that I can really do with my time and amount of money.
I am practically broke, and as a result, I can't really order any parts to create any prototypes, and the digital simulation software is just confusing...
I was just minding my own business on my laptop today, when suddenly, my chair starts spinning wildly with me on it, the desk starts shaking, the floor is vibrating, and I could hear a loud roaring sound all through the house. At first, I thought that the "big quake" of Utah had finally come, and the house was going to crumble, but then, I realized that it was just my overactive washing machine in my house, which my parents had before I was even born. It was going through a cycle, and the auto load balancing system malfunctioned, causing it to accelerate it's motor to the point where the entire washing machine was literally bouncing off the floor, and the entire house shook. After my mom restarted the process of the cycle, it began to function normally again.
Right now, the Hackaday prize 2015 competition is the only thing that is actually new to me.
